    Windows VIRUSta.

And what do you know, www.windowsvirusta.com seems to be unclaimed. Who's got spare pocket money to do a quick domain buy?

I don't, or I would, just for the laughs and a chance to be impolite to Microsoft's lawyers. Satire is fair use, after all, in both the US & Canada...

I think technically it will be Windows NT 6.0, given that 2k was NT 5.0 and XP was NT 5.1.

In view of the amount of delay this project has seen, the song-and-dance being made by MS about the new look and feel and all the new features, the gap between XP and Vista (4 years and counting, as compared to the relatively short gap between 2k's release in 2000 and XP's in 2001), and the purported rewriting of huge portions of the OS, I think it is fair to say MS will give it a new version number. Therefore it will almost certainly be 6.0, not 5.2.

This is conjecture - happy to be corrected.

Incidentally, writing things like "secksier" and "roffle" just makes you look like a fool.

:p At least no one has busted out the "teh" (yet). And what the hell is roffle, anyways? We turn a phrase into an acronym into a phoenetic word unto itself (which is longer than the acronym, may I add)? Getting a bit meta...anyone want to guess the fourth derivitive? I SO do not understand this... :)

newbies? there's about 4 people in this thread commenting with a less than 500 post count...
I'm sure there are better uses of a post than busting out the old salty dog routine...then again, that seems to be a trend lately unto itself.

    There's already a 5.2! Windows Server 2003. Try 5.3 instead.

hmm, considering how bloated it's getting, why not just call it "Windows One"
