some more, more to come. unfortunatley i cant meet the CMWS2021 deadline due to my fathers death, but the DCMM is the next event.
Hi guys, here is some more prohress on the NEXT OF QIN!, making the radiator Stack in system and covers for it too. am also posting a videos later on again, this time done yb the camera guy. So I can first explain the whole concept seeing as I am quite far into the build.
It reminds me of old European castles with the modern plumbing and utilities fitted to the outside. I'd love to see you do a small form factor build, but I fear it would only take you an hour.
nee cheap. even i cant do it in an hour, so hi guys, here is some more progress. i changed the plan and made some new storm turrets to rest the tubes on that now have two extra bends. i also utilised another part of the case, the io panel at the back. this pc now has a voice too, two speakers are worked in.
i sure wish i could post more than ten pics at a time. the atx and sata wire cover is just dropped on, it clips onto the mainboard tray and the gpu cover is part of it too
thx guys, yes this is gonna be a really cultural piece of art again. i think tomorrow i will do the break down after making the gong into the power switch. then its all about putty paint n polish. well, wirkjing and all that horrible stuff too. so, thanks to my mate stefan in usa, who is a japanologist and can actually read what i had on the reservoirs. (chinese) i changed the writing to some engraved chinese wall plates. i couldnt tell which way up or round the chinese caligraphy was supposed to be. so thats changed. i set in the acrylic inlays for the top name sign too. paint will dirts them up. i also made many many cabel covers.
Is that simple glue (Elmer's glue) that you used to fill the lettering? And what did you put underneath so that it didn't leak or seep out?
well, yes and no. the plexi letters were lasered and fixed by spreading elmers on the back. it turns from white to see through after, so it keepy it in place. they will have an external dirty weathered paintjob too so the light should be irregular i hope. too clean would be bad. but without a weathered paintjob, an even layer of glue would give you a clean lighting through the plexi
