Modding Nice LED's (Farnell)

    Starting with blue:
    Surface mount square 5mcd:
    here
    surface mount oval lens 50mcd:
    here
    3mm 45mcd:
    here
    3mm 150mcd:
    here
    3mm 900mcd:
    here
    5mm 100mcd:
    here
    5mm 1000mcd:
    here
    5mm 3000mcd:
    here

    And then we change colour and it gets silly

    10mm Ultrahighbright:
    red max 23000 mcd (yes 23,000mcd)
    here

    yellow max 41400 mcd (yes 41,400mcd)
    here

    and finally
    orange max 41400 mcd (yes 41,400mcd)
    here

    If you are planning on getting these I suggest that you check that view angle that it suits your needs. 4 degrees is quite narrow.

    Yep very true...

    You can get most colours in 5mm >10,000mcd too (though not the blues obv.)... I've always bought my LED's from farnell :)

    Ok but a bit expensive - those 3.5CD 488nm ones are very turqoise in colour (pity)
