Graphics aren't superb, the game play is repetitive and the voice acting is atrocious but I can't put it down I'm addicted to getting a 500, 1000, 2000 hit combo with XXXYYYYYYY. I've only still got as far as using Infeyy and I just learnt how to kit her out with better stuff But then my game crashes in the middle of level 4 just before the dragons are released. The gamer points also suck, there's only 10 available and you have to complete the whole of one person to attain them.
mmmm.... i was thinking of getting this. Still need to finish GOW, and Lost Planet. Can you play that multi player 1-4? on Local play. (could search but am being lazy)
It is really addictive (I've got 2 chars to get around to completing). Also, one of the achievements is a bit misleading - the one which says you've got to get all the characters to Level 9, you've also got to replay each level at Level 9.
I've yet gotten a single achievement for this game. For the longest part, I couldn't put it down. But some parts just piss me off to no ends. I might have to pick it back up again.
Ive found to my dismay last night one of those "parts that piss me off to no ends": level 5 with Inphyy when you're in the forest. 40 minutes later, I'm on my own, getting pwned by archers everywhere and there's no health. 5 of those wizard *******s and the boss are trying to kill me and eventually I die. I can't be arsed to do it again, quite frankly.
There are a few levels like that where you really need a close to maxed out character to get through it. The number of times I've re-played earlier levels just to level up is ridiculous. I've only got Dwingvatt left to get to level 9, Tyurru's last level (and level up to 9) and unlock the big troll (and level up). edit: If it's any consolation Bindi, that's the last level with Inphy. Once you complete it you unlock Aspharr and Myifee. Myifee's levels were pretty fun (and short lived)
I've already unlocked Aspharr and Myifee I started playing Asphar already but I think I'll give Myifee a go instead
Make sure to keep an individual file for each character or you'll lose the items and levels you've built up for the character you've overwritten
I played the demo of this (for about a minute) but didn't really like it all that much, but can it be picked up for cheap now? Might give the full game proper go to see if I like it.
God this game is so freaking annoying. The last missions are ridiculously long and I simply just keep getting killed right at the end boss. I play the last Miyfee mission TWICE and got pwned by the big boss TWICE having to completely replay 40 minutes each. The save system is just so god damn retarded, and now because I cba to finish each character I don't get the gamer points.
That's the trouble with the game, you need to replay earlier levels so many times to level up before you can take on the last level (the Bridge bit is a good place to level up for Miyfee)
Bridge? That's the level I'm playing. The final Orc dude just keeps ripping me a new one. I'm already level 5.
Think I might be avoiding this game otherwise I'll find my controller in pieces after a frustration rage XD
