$250 = £200 once you add Rob, tax et al!

Doesn't seem quite so good when it's only £9 less than xbox360 (even if it is the heavily castrated version!)

Good to see not all companies taking Sony's lead of setting stupid prices though!!

    I want it now damnit!

£175 in the UK I reckon. Would seem a sensible price in comparison with the 360.

I doubt it will be £133 here, more like as mookboy said £175.

XBOX360 + Wii is just a good price compared to the PS3.

I thought I read somewhere that the Wii could retail for as low as $220 US? Maybe I was just seeing things....

I have a feeling that if it was set at £150 inc. VAT, it would absolutely -- fly -- off the shelves.

And i mean sell so much and so fast that there'll be shortages for months.

But i doubt the price would be that low.

Although we will get robdogged as usual in UK, it will still be the cheapest new-gen console and probably the most fun so its well worth that money, ill probably end up with the ps3 aswell when it comes down in price so i have no worries, as for 360, my PC is good enough replacement

Until I play a few games on one it will remain just a gimmick in my eyes.

Sega Dreamcast Bass Fishing Anyone :eyebrow:

    :thumb: Proper game that.

Nah. It doesn't work that way in this country. The US will have them cheap, but we generally get US prices + VAT + a smidgen more for the extra shipping distance on consoles. Hardware usually works out at US + VAT.

man I honestly cant wait to get one of those! A next-gen console with motion sensing controllers for the price of a new ps2?! (well not anymore but you get the point!)

even if the price is so close to the "castrated" xbox 360 keep in mind you need to buy games and such and maybe nintendo will sell one of those package deals....like the xbox 360 premium or ps3 premium so and such but with no hardware differences only like an extra controller and a game.
I cant wait to go home and play with my wii
