You could always send it via Fiji - that should give him plenty of time. Sorry Henry I just couldn't resist.

Last question, I have the LCD and a PC bay in my shopping cart. The PC bay says it comes with a 12v modified cable, would I be right in thinking that a 5v Cable is needed for this particular lcd? Thanks
God I feel like such a n00b, this really really really is my last question. Does this - http://www.matrixorbital.com/products/b2041.htm come with a bracket for getting the serial cable out of the PC from the LCD to the serial port at the back via the Card Slots, or do I need to find/make something along these lines myself. There is one listed on the accessories page, but it appers to be only for 2 models. Any and all help is much appreciated, I will provide my excellent LCD software once I construct it to you all. Thanks
just got my email receipt Henry m8 on it, it says Purchased From: Matrix Orbita Corporation did you know about the mistake? or has this been covered before? Later AW3K
questions! Ok there was a thread here bout a guy who made a stand for his LCD and then applied two potentiometers to it to control contrast and backlight intensity. Can i still do this with a serial LCD? This LCD is serial right? How would I go about making this thing blue backlit? How long will this special be running cuz my next paycheck doesnt come for another 2 weeks!? How much is shipping to Illinios USA? hmmmmmm i may get this though itll be a long shot, As ive already told animeguru to pick me up some edgelighting LEDs and polarizing film for this other 20x4 LCD that i found. This one is paralell so i know how to do the potentiometer thingy on it.
For you North Americans, here's a pretty good deal on a nice quality soldering station: http://www.hosfelt.com/Weller folder/Weller 2.htm The WLC100 for $36.75 should meet almost anyone's particular needs. If not, you probably don't need my advice on soldering irons.
Re: questions! The contrast is LCD controlled.. so no need for a variable resistor for that. Shiping to the US is ~$15.50... doubt you can make is blue (maybe EL) I expect it to go for 2-3 weeks...
Are these still available as the shopping cart is behaving strangely. Whatever I add along with the display (cables etc.) is deleted in the final screen (Step 5) leaving with just the display.
haven't seen that problem yet, several have gone through with all the cables and everything.. I'll double check though.
