UPS tracking says: RECEIVER NOT IN ON 1ST DELIVERY ATTEMPT that was at 1.36pm today. and i was at home !!! hope my lcd doesnt get lost. ok this post isnt pointless, was wondering if u guys got a contact number for ups so i can find out whts going on.... please.
This will be looked into right away. We got promised by DHL there would be no handling fee of any time, just the import tax. I will keep you informed.
Sorry, my mistake. I meant to say UPS, not DHL (I must have ordered it a few hours before you added the DHL option, darn my bad luck).
UPS think they came to my house at 1.36pm. but believe me they didnt !!... i phoned them and they said, "you will have to wait till monday, when we will next attempt to deliver your goods" i said forget it, i will pick it up. next time for me it will have to be DHL !!!
Damn those UPS boyz... they're charging me $25 import fee... to Norway Only whis i'd wait for the DHL option... I work for them (Note: my order was mad 4/3/02) Henry: Why doesn't it say on the order page that power connector and serial cable is needed? hens this page. I would have ordered if i only knew....
ghetto lcd stand hehe well at least my LCD is on my desk, so i can play around with LCD software easier. Oh yeah, and say hi to quackers on the left.
im wiring my own rs232 connector, and in the manual it says "Power may also be supplied via this connector if desired." does that mean i can put 12V where on the diagram it shows 5V, becus nk204 has wide voltage ? happy moddin

i hate it when u soo excited about a new toy and everything seems to go wrong !!! when i try to start LCDCenter2.0 it says: Runtime Error '53' dlportio.dll not found HELP!!
thanks for that, another thing.... the cursor stays on the lcd screen and keeps blinking, and even though on lcdcentre i set screen 2 to display for 10 secs it stays for little while... and i restarted a couple times too. anybody got link for lcdc ... and is it better ? thanx
Well I learnt the hard way that it is a good idea to use a proper power connector instead of a modded serial motherboard connector :cries: Well I think I'll order another one soon and get a proper connector and some good serial cable. One question that I have been contemplating is hooking the LCD screen to the new screen Piggy Back style. Do you think this is tempting fate? I'm not 100% sure what you mean by hook the LCD screen up piggy back style... 2 lcd's off one controller in the hope that your current LCD isn't borken it's just your controller? The piggyback idea is a bad one Though if you want to check the life of your broken nk chop the 16 pins holding the back board on off and remove the back board... then power pin 2 with 5V and earth pins 1 and 3, you should see a 2 black bar test signal. If all's ok you can continue with a tradition // wiring following a guide of your choosing... Cheers, and you're welcome, r.
