The long-term forecast that some company (not the Met Office) said that July and August would start and end with a short wet spell with the middle of the month being wall-to-wall sunshine. Looks like they were right. Personally, I'm enjoying the weather. After three washout summers, I'm glad to finally see a bit of sunshine. I've spent more time in the garden in the last six weeks than I have throughout the whole of the last three years.
I don't understand how anyone can survive this heat. Personally I boil at anything over about 17 degrees.
Indeed, I'd be happier in a block of ice. I haven't ever been on holiday to a hot country actually, because I hate heat AND THAT WOULD BE MENTAL. I also really ****ing hate all this "You think this is hot? Pah you should try living blah-blah-blah" it's all relative you pillocks. Makes me go all grrrrrrrrr when people come out with that absolute nonsense. As for the whining; why didn't all you sun worshippers STFU in the Winter when it was bloody brilliant and snowing and cold and ace and awesome and WIN and amazing! All you did was go on and on and on about how traumatic it was to have to put a jumper on. I made sure I raved about how great the cold was every single day to get my own back on you types this time of year. \o/
i want more snow, whilst the rest of the uk **** itself stupid trying to drive on it i was rallying like an asshole, twas awesome
Snow and cold == awsum, snowboarding. Heat and sun == awsum, general stuff Both are fantastic. I'm a proponent of both, and I moan about neither. Now stfu, go outside. Srsly, the girls are looking classy right now. Edit: I suppose the guys aren't dressed too shabbily either, if that's your thing.
Hehe, you guys should have tried being at Glasto from Wednesday till Monday. No shade, no wind, no clouds. Just heat. Was incredible! That Top Gear car sauna seemed a bit familiar when I got to my tent to pick something up one afternoon... insane temperatures!
