    Hi.

I just installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my machine, on a different partition than the current XP one that i'm using, on the same drive. I installed it such that it'd dual-boot and give me a menu whenever I turn on the PC.

When I restarted the PC after installation completed, my PC showed no GRUB menu and proceeded to load Windows XP as it always has.

    Any ideas?

You didn't get any errors about GRUB during installation?

You propably have to try installing it manually, I'm sure somebody can help you with that.

Hi. I figured out what was wrong. I have two drives, and it installed GRUB on the second one. To make it boot from there, I just changed the boot order, and voila!

Now i'm triple booting, because my second hard drive was from my old computer (which died 4 days ago).

Thank you for your help, mm vr. I appreciate it. :)
