    I agree totally with what you said. I actually was really enjoying NMS after Atlas Rises, but am finding the new crafting very frustrating. The fact I have to carry a refiner around with me is crazy.

    Yeah, there's nothing like crafting, crafting, and more crafting to make a great game. Like backstory, it can be developed almost endlessly, and reduces the need to spend any time on AI, interface usability, controls, weapons, combat smoothness etc. What's not to like?

    Especially when getting the required materials is subject to an intergalactic fetch quest subject to the influence of extreme RNG and harvesting some resources requires crafted tools the recipes for which are hidden behind another RNG.

    On the plus side, the uninstall option works.
