dont know about any one else but really looking forward to this. 1080 with 4K should look nice but really it's oculas cv1 support that will be awesome means to fly about.

Can PlayStation gamers and pc gamers share same universe?

It might just be me, but this looks pretty dull. Squillions of procedurally-generated planets doesn't mean much if the game itself is boring, and this looks boring. I would be happy to be proved wrong, of course.

I also hear that the (for PS4 version at least), texture pop-up is absolutely horrendous.

I agree bawjaws. There's something about No Man's Sky that makes me wary. I just don't think it's going to live up to the expectations placed upon it - and the hype train is going into overdrive for it.

I'm not a fan of the slightly cartoon look it's got going for it as well, though we'll see how things are once it's released.

    Agreed.

I was excited for No Mans Sky. Then as time went by, I just got less bothered. A bit like Elite: Dangerous and Star Citizen... which is crazy considering I still play things like X-Wing Alliance, Freespace 2 and Tachyon: The Fringe.

NMS was a Day One buy from me six months ago... now? When it's 75% off, I'll think about it.

I wish I had bothered to save up for a PC months ago. Haven't replaced it since moving to Australia, but this is the big game I'm waiting for...

My game has been wiped. I was 60% through the game after 12 hours. Angry.

12 hours isn't a lot, though, really. I've lost more time than that to a bad curry.

    Seriously? :/

I was really sure I'd get this on release (for PC). But the above might just be the thing that makes me say "I'll wait for the sales".

Not true as of the day-one patch: you can build structures both on and off planet and they will persist, as will any other changes you make to a planet.
