I finally got the drivers installed for my gfx card, it only took all day. But I need help with sound. I installed Amarok and imported my songs off my storage drive (NTFS if that makes a difference) and although I could see them in the play list, I couldn't get any of them to actually play. So I played the stupid sample audio file and I could "see" it playing, but couldn't hear a thing. So I checked the sound properties and it shows my aging SB Audigy, but I get zero sound when running the tests. First, how do I get sound outta this thing and what is the best player for Ubuntu (Linux). Thanks in advance.
