Is your soundcard detected in Device Manager?

    Speakers plugged in/switched on?

    Muted in software?

    Hardware mute button?

    Headphones plugged in instead?

Have you just gone deaf without noticing it?

Do you use the onboard sound? It's a nightmare in my experience. Drivers suck for onboard imo.
