Right ive got a circuit that i need to find the current at a particular node. Problem is that its got a current source and a voltage source and i cant for the life of me remember how the hell to do it. Im going to go off and :search: so hopefully i wont need your kind help. But on the off chance any help would be appreciated.

Any chance of seeing the circuit and where you are trying to find the current. Or a rough description?

The Current is flowing from Node 2 to Node 3. and the current at Node3 is what needs to be found out. Please please PLEASE DO NOT tell me the ans i just need a hint on how to work out this problem. I tryed asking my lecturer but i get nothing from him. Im hoping that i just need a fresh explination.
The other thing is that im quite happy work out a problem with no current source but im just stuck here.

    thanks very much

Yea i know its a bit of a contradiction but if i were to say that i think its somthing to do with nodal voltages and kirtchoff's laws would i be on the right track?

Its part of my University Coursework and i dont want to cheat but ive go abso-f00king no clue.

PS. im no doing Electronic engineering at uni, im doing Offshoure eng with Marine Tech and weve got to know a little bit about elec to pass the module

Spelling Kirchoff right will get more hits ;)

Googling 'Kirchoff superposition' should home in on the theory side.
