Modding Noise Absorption Mod?

    Anyone know or have any ideas on a cheap mod to make noise absorption pads or just to make your pc quieter. Thank you.

    that stuff that comes in the bottom of motherboard boxes, ive used that before to absorb a little bit of noise

    Egg crate foam is pretty decent. According to this page, rubberized carpet foam (NOT the chunky foam stuff that falls apart) is very good for dampening noise. I've yet to try it.

    I made my own with cork board, glue and rubber pads.

    i would use some sponge sheets if you can get that, it works well, the sponges absorb the sound.
