So i just got my new shiny (well kinda ) Nokia 7610, and i must say it is a sexeh phone I've had a play with it and customized it the best i can so far, but i need to find some ringtones\games\software\wallapapers\themes for it. I've started looking on wap, but all it brings up is either sites that cost, or sites that just don't work, so first off can anyone direct me to Free sites for ANY of the above?? Either wap or web, as the data cable came with the phone so i could upload it to the phone Cheers And on the note of customization, as this is an upgrade from orange, it has the usual orange crap on there, for one in the "Go To" menu, theres about 6 useless shortcuts for a few d\ls for the above, but they all link to the same orange site, just a different area pointless imo, and the fact that i cant get rid of them highly annoys me. Theres also a few other things on there like the "orange guide" which in actual fact tells me jack sh*t but again i cant get rid of it so does anyone know of a way to change this? would i be right in assuming that if i "unlocked" my phone, it would allow me full acess to my phone? If not any ideas?? [EDIT] Thinking about it, i don't really need sites for wallpapers as i can use the pics i have on my comp Although still welcome[/EDIT] All help appreciated . Death
go to www.ringtonenation.com, follow the instructions, go to the free download section and start downloading
I'd say go on WAP... But nokias SERIOUSLY suck - they die after a certain amount of time on WAP. Try bluetooth or IR to transfer stuff from PC. All images and most MIDIs are compatible. Better still, buy a better phone
No, Nokias do not suck. Some of their phones are a bit poo, but they make so many phones that's not too surprising. I have the 7610 too and I have to say it's a cracking little phone. Only problem I'm having with it is Flash Lite crapping out every now & then (invalid license error), but that's a problem with all Symbian 60 phones. I have to admit I've just been bunging ringtones on mine from my PC. There's a bit of software that stops the annoying clicking it sometimes does on .mp3 files too. I'll post a link if I can ever find it again.
Try to use bluetooth and IR more than WAP. I have 5 Nokia's here (four 3510i's, and one 3200) that have all died (won't switch on etc) because of their owners using WAP.
Sorry for the off topic, but do you know how to delete all messages in the inbox? Deleting them one by one takes forever, but I can't find on any menu a delete all...
