Hi, im new so please bear with me. I was wondering if someone could point me out to the right direction in properly wiring this noritake vfd that i bought of ebay. The sellers description is this

"This auction is for one Blue Vaccuum Flouresent Display assembly. Here is info: "Noritake", Embedded high voltage convertor, very bright blue, 2 by 40 for a total of 80 characters, CU40026SCPB-T20A 2x40 VFD, serial & parallel support. Five volts required."

I bought this along time ago and i would like to properly wire it. I have been searching numerous forums and couldnt find any information on how i would start.

Funny, less than 2 minutes on Google netted me this datasheet. Good news is that it looks like you can wire it up basically like a HD44780 LCD, although the pins are in different places, the same functions are there. Can't tell you about the parity and baud rate jumpers though.

You could have a go at the T23A driver from LCDinfo. See this thread.
