the problem is they dont know were Australia is. and they are only asking to Americans so they cant invade them selfs. i hope Americans that watch this dont get mad, this is simply the truth.
it is more real than those informercials and it also depends were you ask in someplaces you may see 95/100 people say France is in Autralia in others 2/100 will say that, it depends and if you notice the map Australia has other things whriten on it like north Korea, France....etc LOL without looking at the map tell me were is Portugal many people dont know and some say it is a Spanish city LOL

A dinky little nation just west of Spain...it was the launching site for Columbus' expedition to India in 1492. The capital is Lisbon. I'm an average American, and I swear I looked none of this up... Jay Leno (of Tonight Show fame) does the same thing during his "Jaywalking." He asks a bunch of people random, basic questions and highlights the ignorant (some may be faking) in a little sketch. There are incompetent people everywhere...and there are competent people everywhere. Race/nationality/culture is irrelevant, unless you think you belong to the Aryan race (we all saw how that one panned out). Edit: Hmm...I did spell capitol wrong...

There are idiots throughout the entire world. No offense, but i bet most europeans dont know the states very well either. I personally know a lot about Europe from AP Euro, but for the mostpart, most people dont seem to care about the rest of the world, no matter what country you may be from. Most of those people look like either stupid tourists or people who failed school anyways. You cant expect much out of them.
Hm? That was definately a brit asking questions, and I think most of the people answering were British as well. Having said that, the idea that people thinking Australia was actually whatever they labelled it as can VOTE (anywhere) is just downright frightening.

I guess it could be brits with fake accents, however given the size of the US I think it is reasonable to assume that there are probably at least 10 retards around who would give the answers in the video! Same with Europe though.
