Going to build up my rig this week, first jump into watercooling. I'm putting an XP2400 onto an Asus A7N8X and my question is:

I've got a Thermaltake Orb lying around, should I put it on my northbridge? If it wont do any harm would it be viable - just for eyecandy?

    Cheers

well if you like spending a lot of money on a nice watercooling system, then putting a crappy cooler that makes more noise then a 747 on your northbridge instead of a silent, probably better working passive heatsink, then go for it...

just depends how much the extra eycandy is worth it for you...

    just my 2p...

serious eye candy would be water cooling the north bridge... be more efficient, quieter & in keeping with the water cooled theme...

Try using an Akasa Icicle 311 for some eye-candy.
