I don't live in the UK, so I really have no clue, but I googled it and this link came up with something called Reality X. Actually, digging in further it seems to be a internet cafe, not a lan party, but you could probably organize one there or something.

Your parents live with you or you live with your parents? :D

Hosting your own LAN seems to be your only option. You could rent somewhere for the night of find a friend with a large room (you could even hold it in a garage). If you publicize the event, you could charge a small fee at the door to pay for costs.

    Durham is above Yorkshire.

One in the north-west - http://www.directlanco.co.uk/, one in reading as mentioned, and one in Southampton - http://www.thebiggame.org/ only if you're willing to travel all the way down south. Good thing about this is that sometimes its literally round the corner from my house!

A different one than that, one at the university: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=67898

And I believe Reading is a while away from Durham (peeking at google maps).

Good stuff, when the event gets closer should give you a shout and we can arange something, or you could just look out for the sqs lads at the event, normaly drinking uncopius amounts of redbull, playing Q2 and only moving for the toilet

    http://www.martonhotel.co.uk/new/

Held in a big function room in there, they do rooms for weekend with deals too as sleeping on the floor is a no no unless you pass out or you're an admin hiding beneath a hub.

    Always good fun,
