Other Northern LAN Party?

Hey all, I can't seem to find a northern LAN party apart from the occasional one in Scotland, so I've made this group on Facebook... If there are any big ones nearby let me know and I'll take the group down and give you rep because my google-fu is obviously off.

Joined out of curiosity, though if I really wanted to LAN there's a society at my uni that I've been carefully avoiding.

Well the idea is that some large company will see that we want one and look into arranging one

Not at all Canon, it's a rivalry that's been going on between Yorkshire and Lancashire since the War of the Roses, that's all she meant by "no such thing as a sexy Yorkshireman"... Saying that an ex of mine is from Rochdale in Lancasheer (as they pronounce it) so we can't be that bad looking

Oh no I meant the not knowing what i40 was....however now that you mention it, I have friends from Lancashire and indeed one or two in Yorkshire (well and truly spread out). None of them fall under 'sexy' so I think i'll side with b_e on this one!

I am thinking of organising some charity fundraising LAN meets in the Yorkshire area, I had it in mind a while back but other stuff got in the way. If anyone would like to get involved in that, just give us the nod
