Why cant anyone host a lan partie up north, i mean like north of england, as in near the newcastle / durham / Middlesbrough area.

i know a few people who would love to go to lans, but cant because of travel expenses and the like,

If anyone has any plans, or would like to see a northern lan, just reply in ere, maybee we can get enough replies to forward to some big "lan companie" and show them what the people want,

No i realy am being serious tho..

Yeah, theres never really anything like lans going off up here (Carlisle :hehe: )

What has always put me off is that I've pictured them to be *removed - Alaric* an overcrowded room stuffed with screaming adolescents and stinking of the various bodily odours of the said inhabitants Eurgh :grr:
    Keep it civilised chaps! ;)

Some sort of Gentlemans Club lan would be a great idea! :dude:

And the only game that I play mainly is AHL, I guess its not too popular at lans.... but the prospect of slapping someone around with a ping of 0 is mouthwatering :baby:

dont worry about it Stew :)

I'd too like to attend a more local LAN rather than just a nationwide MASSIVE LAN!

I'll see if I can find out when the next one is planned for :)

    Badlanrising

Just been pointed to this thread and been told to Pimp. The next badlanrising is planned to be sometime around October at the moment we are currently looking into larger venues in the NE area as we plan to expand the lan to between 100 and 150 people. We run a fully switched network and a large investment has just been made in new equipment to make sure players get the lowest pings possible.

With regard to games anything goes AHL has been one of our favourites in the past and if there's anything people want to see running at a LAN they can feel free to request it on the forums beforehand

Cost is usually around the £20 mark for a two day weekend but don't quote me on that as prices can change depending on the venue we find.

Feel free to email me with any questions you have.

    Steven "Nemesis" Lawton
