Ok, im REALLY interested in the n50 since i play endless FPS games but i once bought (bout 3 yrs ago) a saitek cyborg 3d and never got it to work (£40 down the drain :cries: ) so im a little scheptical to whether i can get this working too. Ive got shed loads of USB ports so that's no problem, and win XP, but it def does work in all popular FPS games like MOHAA, RTCW, Q3, CS, JK2? etc??

Can you use your keyboard like normal even though its plugged in? (not in games, just like now typing messages).

Yes it should work in any/every game because at it's simplest you can make the n50 keypresses emulate keyboard presses... if you're worried about forking out £25 for the n50 I'd suggest buying it from somewhere that you can easily return it to should it not work... most online retailers have ok returns policies, though you shouldn't need to use them ;)

    Cheers,

Have you tried assigning direct inputs to the keys instead of normal keyboard keys, then setting the pad up in your game of choice... might be quicker? Cn't say I've noticed any lag,

    cheers,

Nor me , and I play only cs . Your not running windoze Xp ?

My only complaint is that I can't program the 2 button in cs cos when I do it works right until I press crouch and fwd and back the button seems to press itself . Most bizzare

Though I've only used mine a short while (since I built my new comp and had to format, re-inst, etc.), I do know that since it is a usb device, as long as you don't hit the keys (which correspond to assigned keyboard keys) your computer just ignores it. One thing you do have to watch out for is to keep your throttle in a center position or it will fub up your comp (reads as constant key pressing).

I plan to re-install it and try to get used to the set-up, but one thing I did notice is that for people with large hands, it doesn't seem as comfortable as I would have hoped.

One thing that I like about the n30 is that now I can feel myself stabbing and killing the scientists in half-life.

Other than that I dont really use it and I put it back in its box.

I won it at a LAN
