Windows Not Being able to save Jpegs and gifs

    For some odd reason in the last couple of weeks i cannot save jpegs, and gifs off the internet instead the only option im given is to save it as a BMP

    can anyone help me? :worried:

    If the only option is to save as 'untitled.bmp' then it is a bug in IE (constult MS Knowledge base for more details), just clear you cache/temp files and all will be back to normal...

    Yeah.
    You can set your browser to clear your cache everytime you close it so you don't get this problem.
    It is possible to save as something other tham a .bmp though, you just change the extension on the end of the filename when you save it (although I think it makes .gif's lose their animation)
