Xbox 360 Not taking xbox live updates

    i have gone over all the advice xbox web site has given. but it still wont install xbox live updates :( all i get is this code 3f4b-40a3-1600-0702-c000-0099

    edit i have now found out its a xbox with a ban...... nice of my friend to say.....

    you could try and contact M$ and have them maybe lift the ban if you state your case well enough.

    not sure what i could say, as i dont even have a case for it. so i have no idea on model number :(


    i just fixed the broken disktray and it looks like my mum has thrown out my lid

    You have more chance of catching a Unicorn and riding it to war against the undead hordes of Atlantis than getting Microsoft to unban a hardware banned Xbox. They even mention not to buy second hand ones because of it in one of their many many TOS doorstops.
