    ... but they're mine!

    My Main rig

My Lian Li - yes done to death, but they are a lovely case.

Replaced the fans with blues Akasa LED's at the rear. Also replaced the stock Intel cooler with a Akasa AK670cu-BL.

Spiral wrapped all loose wires and replaced cables with UV reative IDE cables.

In the dark, but unfortunatly the camera dosn't pick up the UV purple fading to blue. Looks a lot nicer in person.

A nice Radeon logo to show where my loyalties lie :D

Also have a Lian Li stealth plate to cover the combi drive, and a Matrix Orbital LCD, with the blue backlight that compliments the rest of the PC.

    My Shuttle

Unlike in the dark, my camara decides to show up any scratches in the light. The top left corner does have a nasty scratch :dremel: , but it doesn't look so bad in reality. Also a couple of hours with a file left the whole thing looking a bit smoother.

Standard Shuttle fan and grill replaced with another blue akasa fan, and a blue plexy grill.

Shuttle in its temporary home, with a bubble light for a bit of extra brightness.

I've posted the entire build of my shuttle from box to completed here

Well thats my lot for now. I figured if I'm on a modding forum I may as well show something I've done!

Are you kidding with that window on your shuttle? Get the files on there, it looks a right mess! Lian Li looks ok i guess but its not like you've done very much to it, its all pre mods. I'd remove the case badges straight away there against my religion.

I'll leave now cos your probably not gonna be to pleased with this post as a first reply.

Give him a chance we all had to start some where.

    he said and the title

    Not the greatest... (56K)

    ... but they're mine!

He admitts that it isn't "up to standard" and he admits he made mistakes with the shuttle,

Like i say give him a chance.

Pseudonym practice makes perfect , just keep at it.

Nice job on the optical drive in the shuttle :hehe: :thumb:
Perhaps you could try stealthing it with the shuttle drive bay cover?

Thanks for the comments, even the critisisms - which are accepted. As I said in the original post, it has since been attacked with a file, and I've ordered some silver window trim which should hopefully mask the scratch.

Cheers, the logo came from the shattered web , which comes highly reccomended.

what? criticism (?) without suggestions for improvement... (ok.. besides for the "get the files on there" :nono:

Everybody have to start somewhere... experience doesn't come all by it self... and the window doesn't look like "a mess". it just need some adjustments.. a bit of filing and mabye some trim... that could look nice...

    keep it up...

oh, and bossman: how did you'r first mod look like?

Bossman that was really harsh, but w/e thats your opinion. Anyway, very nice/clean Lian Li. The shuttle looks decent too.
Look at it like this, even if its not what you wanted, you learned from it. If it is what you wanted, you got something you like and experience!

Looking good so far. You don't mention, but those uv reactive cables might not be showing up to well because of the lack of uv lighting. Stick a uv cc in there (and a bloo one for good measure :) ).

If you're going to stick any more fans in there, it may be worth looking at a fanbus or something like that, there's some pretty cool ones out there.

Also, see if you can get hold of a nice Bulgin Vandal Resistant switch for your power button, I believe the hole is the right size for one to go straight in.

Very nice indeed. Subtle enhancements to add that touch of individualism.

I'd be more than happy with either of those on my desk anyday. I love the look of Lian Li cases. I am writing this post on a (unmodded) PC65.
