I have notebook Fujitsu LifeBook 765Dx.
Monitor of notebook shows correctly but cover with red light. The lamp of monitor (as i know it calls blck lamp) is broken.
Please help what can be done with it?
Is it possible to repaire it?
If needs to change, then where i can buy such lamp?

In my city the changes of the lamp costs 100$, as i think it is too expensive.
    Thank you

You might be able to find another cold cathode (that is what the type of lamp is called). Also the inverter might be broken. You might be able to buy and entire replacement screen from ebay. You probably would be best just to pay the 100 for it to be fixed.

Depending on how much the laptop is worth to you, you could open it up to see if you could fix it, but it is posible that you would just cause more damage if you don't know what you are doing. Laptops are very compact and everythign is integrated, so to fix the cold cathode, It might be easier to replace the entire screen.

inverter is ok, we have tried to put lamp from other notebook. As i learn from internet, the difference between lmps is only in diameter and diagonal of monitor.
Possible you have some idea where i can buy lamp of highlight???

Try digikey. They have a very large catalog but probably have something that will work. If not, maybe you can contact Fujitsu and ask where to buy a replacement.
