Relocate to the Pit and Pendulum later on then?

    Most confusing bar ever.

Well, as the IRC monkeys already know, I won't be there.

Tis a shame as I quite enjoyed the last meet I went to, and this one actually sounds bigger and better. I'm gonna be working sat night from 6pm, and the journey takes hours so it's just not possible.

Can't complain too much at work either, as they've been very accomodating towards me taking time off the second busiest week of the year to bugger off to Prague.

Sorry, you'll just have to manage without me :p

You're god-damned right about that, we went to prague the other year (whole family) and we couldn't spend all of our Czech money on literally anything! (Beer is like 30-50p/pint :D

It's just occurred to me, is there a dress-code thing for weatherspoons? All the ones i've seen have nasty-looking bodyguards outside them... Stupid question i know, but is it no jeans/trainers for example?

Don't worry, they're just there to enforce age limits. 'Spoons has become a lot more careful about that recently, they ID everyone after about 8pm, even if you look like Phat ;) We might be going somewhere with a dress code later, I'm gonna pack a shirt and shoes just in case :)

Failed my driving test today. going apparently 35 into a 30 zone. For starters i was in front of a copper , so im not gona speed, and 2. The silly fat woman was sitting beside me so it would clearly make the speedo look like it was 3-4 mph higher than what i can see.

So looks like i wont be coming ! :wallbash:

Moi, probably boots, jeans, t-shirt with possibly a shirt to button up over the top for bypassing bouncers. Tbh I'm not the clubbing type though, so expect me to be with anyone staying in a pub.

Seen people get refused for trainers in manchester, i think they jsut use it as an excuse to keep people who look like trouble makers out. Not sure about tracksuits, etc but i don't think you'll turn up in tracky-bottoms some-how :hehe:

Oh yeah - the reason I'm disappearing at 6am:

Law is expecting me at about 11pm tonight...I managed to wangle the day off work so I'm going down to Grantham now then I'm going to attempt to use the Lincs/Notts bus services to get to her village...wish me luck, hopefully I'll be with her by 10am. :)

    *n (hopeless romantic...or something)
