Looking good! Your screwheads need to be bigger though, they're getting lost in those countersinks... Nice work!

    10th Update [5th Feb 2010] Bending aluminium

Hi!, you awaited for several weeks to see this update, and this is the day. The aluminium bar bending. This is a bit complex for most people, also for me, because that, I didn't do by myself. We are constantly learning new things, inclusive if you've practiced modding for many years.

Now I've learned a new method, next time will surely that I will do it by myself!

This old man was my master for a few hours, he did all and explained me how to do this job.

We changed the piece orientation to work better.

And that's all for now, next thing to do is make holes to the piece, and do a threaded work to it.

Not neccessary, i will fit a usb port or a display.. or both! I'm thinking about it.

just 5mm, I thought it would be more width to the curve, but it stayed at 5mm like the no bent parts.

You think that I took too many pics to same thing? everything went very quickly :p

    11th Update [6th Feb 2010] Second sponsor!

I'm proudly to announce a new sponsorship! EK waterblocks & Traxtore have been collaborated to bring one of the most significant component in this mod, the front radiator.
EKWB manufactures all components needed to build a watercooling loop, waterblocks, radiators, fittings... all! Traxtore is a hardware shop and a partner that distributes EK products mainly in Spain and has a very wide choice of components.

The given radiator is a EK Coolstream XT 360, perfect to work with low flow fans, perfect for quiet operation.

I must thank to Alberto & Eddy for supporting this project. Thanks guys!

    Here the pics:

gap will not be seen, because a usb/display will take its place. Probably i'll need to make it bigger to accommodate a plate to fix the usb ports.

12th Update [7th Feb 2010] Making holes and tapping it.

Another day with a update. I machined holes in the aluminium bezel and into the plastic support. Too closer to de edges, but well.

I put the pieces together to see where to drill holes.

Here I marking holes only in one side, later i'll mark the another side.

This is a tap tool, it's a extremly useful tool!

First side holed, threaded and fixed. Now i'll mark the another side.

Wow, like I planned in the skech! I'm happy
