Why does it even need a reboot?

Remaster the effects if you must, but the last time I watched the originals they hadn't dated that much.

    PG13? *Sigh*

I strongly recommend seeing the first 2 films atleast ( the third was a bit iffy really ), great plotlines, good characters & actors, and the awesomely creepy stop-motion animation used for the baddy robots just tops it off. :)

The third had a laptop I converted for years and iirc a fricking jetpack!

That reminds me though, does anyone else find it funny thatin films as years go on the capacity of the brain gets larger... I'm sure I have bigger thumb drives than johnny mnemonic's brain... still no vr awesomeness though :-(

    Star Wars.
    Robocop.
    Terminator.
    The Godfather.

Four of the best films or film series I've ever seen!

Please tell me you've seen Goodfellas, Scarface, Ali, The ShawShank Redemption, Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill?!

Seriously though, are you just not into films? Don't like sci-fi? Want to talk about it? :p

Saw Goodfellas about a month ago, really enjoyed it. Didn't think much of Scarface and I certainly don't think SSR is the best film ever but it is good. What is Ali? I love Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill :)

I haven't seen any of your top four films! I have just read The Godfather, amazing book!

I never think to put a film on, always something better to do!

Ali is the story of Cassius Clay portrayed by Will Smith. It's long, but it's an immense watch :thumb:

    Oh, that's not my top films list. That's just a handful of my favourites - Some top ones (off the top of my head) are probably;

    • Heat
    • Pulp Fiction
    • American Gangster
    • Public Enemies
    • Blade Runner
    • Reservoir Dogs
    • Miami Vice
    • Collateral
    • Book of Eli
    • Saving Private Ryan
    • Fight Club

And then there's a long list all the way to about 30... Yeah, I'm a film buff. Yeah, I have a lot of faves. I'm ok with it :hehe:

The top 5 above are pretty much my top 5 in order.

I wasn't overly impressed by American Gangster, haven't seen the others in the list apart from Pulp Fiction.

I made the list bigger

I watched the extended edition of American Gangster and 100% loved every minute of it. I just think Denzel is one of the best actors in the world, and Ridley Scott is one of the best directors in the world.
