It's funny, we have a Jehovah witness who works in the house keeping section of the hotel, comes into the kitchen every day to do stuff; every chance the chefs get they ask him all kinds of bizarre and random questions, just to troll the feck out of him. Yesterday they were asking about fossils and evolution- his response was that evolution was not real and was a myth, despite all the undeniable proof all around us.



I'd join in myself, being a militant atheist, but this guy is seriously up on his bible knowledge so I get the feeling he'd 'defeat' me with his superior ability to recall and quote 'facts' from the bible. Plus I'm always buried under a mountain of dirty dishes or pots & pans to wash so I just listen in an lol quietly to myself...

So if the decisions made have a effect on you but are glad just to stand on the side and follow whatever everybody else decides ?

Being neutral is a luxury only someone who has others defending themselves has, and very often it is simply not an option.

 

That did strike me as an odd stance to take, especially on religion; it's like saying don't believe or subscribe to religion, nor do you align yourself to atheism- but neither would you agree with being labelled agnostic ( if in doubt... ) probably. It isn't really a valid stance to take on religion as you either are or aren't to a lesser or greater extent, unless you prefer to think of yourself as unpartizan, leaning towards religion or atheism.

People will judge you whichever way you swing, and they will judge you if you swing neither way too...
