    American cars are okay if you like looks, terrible fuel economy, and terrible handling ( in terms of your average run about or 'muscle' car ) unless you spend a fortune. Or to put it another way, you know something is very very wrong when a ~5ltr engine only produces ~250 horse power, if that...

    Besides, being heavy is not a good thing when it comes to underpowered cars- downforce is better than pointless use of heavy materials.

    That's how it's supposed to work. Bumpers are cheaper and easier to replace than cyclists. ;)
