    Actually that is the amount of disdain for customers I'd expect from the French stereotype ("You should be so lucky as to be allowed to eat in my restaurant.")

    Anyway, WOW! that was a whole lot of crazy, self deluded.... It also made me think of the Northern Pikes song: "She ain't pretty she just looks that way" (great song and I'd post a Youtube link but I'm not sure how to do that from my iPad).

    Given the level of some questions I get asked at work, that is the amount of disdain some people here in the UK deserve.

    Customer - "Can you show me where the pancake mix is?"
    Me - "Certainly sir."
    *trundle off to home baking*
    Me - "There we are." *pointing*
    Customer - "No, no. That says batter mix, I want pancake mix."
    Me - "..................:eyebrow:"

    I had the same sort of thing when I was working the nightshift at sainsburys, a customer wanted bean curd so I pointed her to tofu, she was most adamant that it had to say bean curd as that is what was written in her recipe...

    It's like the ones who HAVE to have white shelled eggs as that is what Dhelia uses and they are following her recipe...
