    If I had the spare cash, sure why not get everything matchy-matchy? But my rigs are a mess anyway, so it's not something I would personally be inclined to prioritise. I'm working in a quiet medium-power gaming/photoshop rig so I can get rid of the tonnes of crap I have lying around, and when the design for that is finalised, I will look carefully for monitors that match.

    The more I think about it, the less I want a Mac I think.
    At first I thought “Why not? If I have the money…”. Apple products emanate such a feeling of class and luxury, are mostly well designed, look stunning and do what their supposed to do.
    However, I won't because I don't agree with their company policies and ideologies. The immense price premium, their Walled-Garden approach, the lack of upgradability, the sheer arrogance I see in many presentations and in for example the “rounded-corner” lawsuit with Samsung, etc. . I will not give them my money and reinforce those ideas I do not stand for.
    Besides, I've always preferred function over form and if I do feel like using a UNIX-based OS, I just boot up my Linux Mint partition. I really couldn't care less for a matching monitor; as long as the image quality is decent enough, I'm a happy man.
