    Personally i think tipping should be voluntary and not used to top up low wages. Restaurants should pay their staff properly in the first place.

    I gym quite a bit and I was sort of considering hitting the tanning beds (because I'm scared of getting burnt on my Turkey trip next month).

    I worked restaurant work for 6 years, and still never got why people tipped me (Not that my service was bad, it was good, but I was just doing my job which I got paid to do.) My biggest tip was a £80 table who tipped me £100 because it was Christmas Day. Stupid restaurant I worked in shared the tips with the chefs (Even though they got great pay, as the head chef was michelin star head chef previously)

    That comic sure did demote me :(

    It started off with potential, who doesn't like an attractive waitress afterall, but the immediate distraction of all that fart crap, before the descension into a lecture about f***ing tipping. Total horse***t.

    Was at a Giraffe restuarant the other day. My partner paid and we only realised as we were leaving that they'd chucked in an 'optional' gratuity without explicitly bringing our attention to it. Last time I go there.
