but,
a. i dont have a lot of non-store apps. (couple games, but i can just reinstall from Steam)
b. it's unconfirmed. there's no official FAQ that it will be the case.

either way, 8.1 gives me hope that it's not going to be another Vista.

have you tried it? the start screen? u can scroll down for all programs. wallpaper same as desktop. better navigation. and other stuff.

yeah just ignore the "Window button" on the bottom left corner though. it does nothing.

I thought this only happens if you had an Art or Media degree. When I worked there, we had a ****-ton of these guys, and as one of the few who left school to work there, I was out and working somewhere better within a short time. The rest are still there haha.
