As much as I want to make a witty remark here ( I won't.. ), I can't help but feel digusted- more so given that the letter seems to have been written by someone who isn't a total moron...

I don't know. That letter's so badly written that it almost seems as if it was purposely written that way: the caps, exclamation marks, “euthanize him”,…
I think(…hope) this is more a prank (of very bad taste), than a real person that seriously wants this boy gone.
Still feel sorry for the family though.

 

If the noise was half as bad as the letter makes it out to be, then I don't blame her for getting pissed. She certainly could have used a bit of tact and perhaps read through of "10000 and 1 ways to avoid butchering the English language"*.

As a philosphy undergrad to go into Law with a background in electrical engineering and mechanical engineering I find this to be hilarious.

That said, all my experience is work based more than study based so there's that.

Also, screw Dell. Who told you diodes in parallel was a good idea? Don't you know one big Diode produces the same results with much less problems?

 

Are you working on a Dell Inverter today? Is it actually a Dell branded board? That's a very "Chinese electronics" thing to see... Not the worst I've ever seen though

 

I know I'm going to get crap for this, but despite her execution, I can understand her frustration.

When I was 7 or 8 my family moved to a semi-detached house. My bedroom was right next to a retarded child's (who happened to be in her 40s). I can't count how many times I was woken up with unnatural-sounding wailing outbursts that absolutely terrified me.

Yes, as I grew older I did come to understand mental illness and it's implications, but that didn't prevent many a pubescent **** from being ruined , or concentration destroyed while attempting to do homework. Honestly, there were times I would have written a letter like that myself because it was such an imposing factor in my life.

 

I see that you, like me, have started the job of moving your p0rn-folder(s)...
Sometimes I feel that I should just download some decent new stuff rather than keeping the same old stuff...
(there is a hint of irony somewhere in there )

 

Yeah, I can understand how annoying the other parents could find the screeching & wailing sounds, more so if like the letter says the child is just left to roam the street without any supervision ( like most families around where I live do... ). There are specialist organizations that can help with activities and care etc. But still, the letter is just a tad on the heartless side...

The demotivating thing is how big the UK becomes for a relatively small island in reality

 

I know one of the neighbours of the childs family they are disgusted by this letter and appalled, as are many other folk myself included this letter is a hate crime and should be treated as such and its author arrested. The child in question has autism and cannot stop the noises as they are a part of the disability, This woman is a poor excuse for a human being writing evil letters such as this your condoning this is wrong please think before you post

 

Oh wow. I'd be seriously offended by such a letter if my disabled brother wouldn't probably earn more than this sorry POS, have a better written English and be a happier person to boot.
