Thats about the most demotivating thing on here for an unemployed person of just over a year.

Especially when I think: " that f*ckwit can get the job of US president and I can't even get an interveiw for a shelf fillers job"

 

I love how they confused "turn on" with "open". I don't see the similarities. But yeah, those things annoy me about the present compared to the past as well! Wait, does that mean I'm showing my age? :/

In particular, the credit card thing and the slow EPG on set-top boxes. No excuse for either. None whatsoever.

i lol'd, but the whole thing is pretty bogus.

electronics take longer to load.....but for a few extra seconds/minutes wait you get infinitely better picture, sound, and loads upon loads of content.

id also like to see that charger go up against....i dunno...this?



i will agree with the music though. todays pop scene is enough to drive a man to tears.

 

And nevermind the fact that a DVD can go to the beginning in a few seconds, whereas to get to the beginning of a VHS it will take about 5 mins.

 

Ever tried watching Blu-Rays on the PS3? I can't say it's all that much slower than rewinding an entire VHS lol

(anyway Betamax was better, VHS just got better backers )

 

I have tried watching Blu-Rays on PS3, it's not that bad.

And VHS got the porn backing them, that's what they needed lol.

You miss the point. That's a £1000000 hyper-car. Of course it's fast. Chargers were cars anyone could afford. If you want fast these days, you have to have more money. Shouldn't cars be getting faster and cheaper?

 

Your average driver can only control that much performance. I dread to think how it would affect the traffic accident mortality rate if everyone were driving a comparable to a V8 from 70s' nowadays.

Then again, if money weren't of issue, my wheels of choice would probably be 69 Shelby GT 500 or something similar. Veyron, like most other modern cars, looks like an electric shaver.

 

How much safer, more reliable and better equipped is a modern car?
