    We were discussing him on FB. He most likely is courting some major medical problems. Bifurcated tongue, holes in cheeks and nares, the fact that those are open holes exposing oral mucosa-he's done himself major facial damage.

    I have holes in my ears I can put my fingers in (one at a time, but still) but I don't have piercings where it's so bloody dangerous-there's a major blood vessel running through the tongue that just barely misses being severed in a bifurcated tongue. Add to that that he can't really close his mouth when he chews and you've got a real setup for some serious cellulitis or worse.

    Perhaps he carries around corks or rubber stoppers to put in there when he eats? :confused:

    Otherwise I'd imagine it would look like a skeleton in the movies trying to eat/drink something.

    Yea definitely something I would never understand the reasoning for...

    Just because you can, does not mean you should...

    TBH I don't think I could stop myself putting a bike lock or similar through the ones in his cheeks and chaining him to a fence... [I know someone who had the spacers in his ears and found himself padlocked to a fence by the ear after having one too many]

    I'm no doctor (medical, anyway) but when he comes to regret his decision I'm sure surgery will be able to sort him out okay.
