    In all seriousness, Cowboy Bebop is one of the few Animes that's less vulnerable to being whitewashed. The two lead characters are Martians and whilst cartoon characters rarely have distinct ethnicities Spiegel is an Austrian/German name, Black could be from anywhere, but he's tall, white and distinctly un-asian looking.

    However, Faye is explicitly Asian (Singaporean, maybe), Radical Ed Wong must be... Turkish maybe?... and Ein must be a Corgi. If Ein's a Jack Russell there will be Hell to pay.

    I'm more worried they'll mess with the tone or the stories, like Black says, "Nothing good ever comes from Earth,"
