Well I don't like any of it, the chances of any part of that post being true are minimal to nil. Just a bloody scrounger.

Hmm... not totally sure about this...

 

Apart from Wednesday and Morticia, they are all too fat.

I used to watch the original series when I was young. Based on this picture, they don't seem to have captured the essence.

 

Apparently, the designs are based around the original comic book characters, hence the... interesting... style. Personally, I think they look ridiculous- I like the character design of the Incredibles with the exaggerated proportions, but this takes that kind of art style and cranks it up to a million percent. Chances are it will either be hugely successful & no one will understand why, or it will crash and burn. I would have preferred a live-action reboot of the franchise really, enough time has passed.

 

Unfortunately the rights to the Addams Family are a colossal *********** of mind-bending proprtions iirc... My vague understanding is essentially making an animated film is pretty much they only way they can get it made, because reasons.

As someone with direct experience with this stuff [having had to deal with the Tolkien, CS Lewis and Conan-Doyle estates for various things] it's a ****ing nightmare... It's a minor miracle any films/tv based on literary works get made tbh...

 

Ugh, another franchise like that eh? Same reason why we're getting a Mogli movie from a different studio, after Disney released The Jungle Book, and why there are/were 2 different Little Mermaid stories in the works by Disney and a different studio. What a mess.

Looking at the Forbes "top 100 athletes" rich list and seeing Tiger Woods still raking in $42m in endorsements...

 

Primarily endorsements from painkiller manufacturers and divorce lawyers, I'd think
