I'm far from an expert, but I don't think that's how film grain removal works. Maybe they remastered some scenes from the source material and just forgot to add in some of the details?

My guess is they used an algorithm to automatically remove noise but defined noise as black and white values. That still frame has the values removed from in entirely, it's just solid spot colour and over saturated. The only bit of black I can see in that frame is the neck band, everything else is deleted. If they were re-using the original animation cells the line work would be intact. I doubt cells from 1958 would be terribly usable now so they probably used a film print.

The engineer who did it probably knew exactly what the problem was, the person in charge who decided to do it that way (or left only enough budget to do it that way) needs firing.

Took me a moment to see what's wrong there. Missing a BIOS battery is going to be a total ballache, you're going to have to keep entering settings every time you cold-boot...

Is that how AMD CPUs are mounted though?

Main problem is the AMD cpu in an Intel socket!

    I KNOW!

The joke was focusing on a small minor part of the image instead of the glaringly obvious mistake!

I've seen worse in advertising mock-ups. I mean, at least it's just a Photochop and nobody actually tried shoving a Ryzen CPU into an Intel socket.

    H&K, on the other hand...

In fairness to H&K it's a lot safer for all involved with the bullet that way round.

I'd hope that they're inert rounds, but... Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if they weren't.

Extra long pin punch down the barrel, a quick tap and I'm sure it would all be nice and clear....
