"NVIDIA's own internal benchmarks reveal that the 8x AGP-compliant GeForce FX has 3x the raw frame rate power of the NV25 (GeForce4 Ti 4xxxx) and 3x the vertex processing. Sporting 125-million transistors and manufactured on a 0.13u process, it's arguably the most technologically advanced GPU available. It's manufactured using the same flip-chip technology as the R300."

Viper Lair have also written an article:

"Admittingly, I feel the GeForce FX will be something a lot of people are going to want to have for their "Doom" box. The specifications look impressive, easily better looking and faster than their GeForce 4. Given that it's at least double the Ti4600's speed, it should be 20-30% faster than ATi's best. This is only speculation, and we can only support their claims when we test the GFFX in house."

    As has Spode:

"This card has the sort of exotic cooling you would expect to see in an overclockers machine. It utilizes heat-pipe technology and has a ventilation system that takes up an extra expansion slot. This is well worth while as the extra slot contains an air inlet and outlet for the system. It takes the cold air in from outside, cools the card and expels the air. This means the cooling of this card is completely independent to the case air - allowing for a cooler card AND a cooler case temperature."

    Linkage.
