Tried to tell you all that (ALL FE cards available when I looked), but I kept getting "Server not found" - Probably my work network being dumb again.

Mrs crap has requested a "new" computer in the nzxt h510 flow I reviewed, as she really likes the case. She has requested it be all black and silver, founders cards fit perfectly, bit so would an acetal blocked card. I'm still trying to convince myself I want it, but I know I don't, or at least I don't need it. Trying to fix this shithole of a house FFS and that's the best part of a new bathroom suite

I've cancelled the order. I just can't justify it. I've gone ****ing mental buying stuff left right and centre because it's been so long since I've had the money to be able to go "oh darn, I need one of those thingamajigs. I shall order one right now". I'm about to spend in the region of £6k+ renovating the bathroom, kitchen and dining room. The 3080 is near enough the amount of the new dining room table and chairs. lol

Of course they're out of stock now - EE data has been down all day here and I was trying to piggyback on the work's piss poor wifi, which can just about service the odd forum post but has ****-all chance of pushing an order through on Scan's site during am FE drop.

My mate tried to buy one. Put it in his cart, then his CC company flagged it as a fraud. That's buying a GPU these days I suppose lol.

Gamer's Nexus did a good transient load video for 30 series GPU's. That gigabyte 3090 is pulling a HUGE transient load spike!

No wonder when I got my 2080 Ti, my 550w was shutting down, also Seasonic. One way around it, I've found, was to restrict power limit to 75%. I guess that also reduced short time maximum draw down to within manageable limits for the power supply.

    Back to 1000w power supply.......

As Europe is restarting coal plants or removing coal usage caps, inflation hits hard, depending how long Putin extends his ego trip, power usage increases will eventually be more scrutinized. Hardware manufacturers will want to get their latest hardware out the door asap and then focus on extreme efficiency for following generations.
