Mrs crap has requested a "new" computer in the nzxt h510 flow I reviewed, as she really likes the case. I've cancelled the order. I just can't justify it. I shall order one right now". I'm about to spend in the region of £6k+ renovating the bathroom, kitchen and dining room. The 3080 is near enough the amount of the new dining room table and chairs. lol

Gamer's Nexus did a good transient load video for 30 series GPU's. That gigabyte 3090 is pulling a HUGE transient load spike! No wonder when I got my 2080 Ti, my 550w was shutting down, also Seasonic. One way around it, I've found, was to restrict power limit to 75%. I guess that also reduced short time maximum draw down to within manageable limits for the power supply. Back to 1000w power supply.......
As Europe is restarting coal plants or removing coal usage caps, inflation hits hard, depending how long Putin extends his ego trip, power usage increases will eventually be more scrutinized. Hardware manufacturers will want to get their latest hardware out the door asap and then focus on extreme efficiency for following generations.
