Yeah, I noticed that too!
Just following the herd.
Actually I just checked they still have 3070's for £550 though...
I think it would technically be termed "profiteering", but point stands.
Not like the placeholder price matters, lets see what they change the price to once they have stock...
What is this "stock" of which you speak?
Y'know, stock. Like Oxo cubes an' such.
Its a theoretical form of matter where mythical things actually exist!
All orders, or all orders for that particular card? I'm betting on the former.
Fancy breaking a prebuilt down? shipping in ~30days....
That starts to look like reasonable value
I know, right.... weird world we live in.
Possible cashback (2.5%) and amex £100 off are unconfirmed possible other reductions....
They didn't specify to be honest, so I guess you'll be finding out!
I bet if you did order it that order would be cancelled for 'reasons' because that discount would be a massive money loss for that retailer!
Looks like Viking are pulling all the cards now, no longer available...
Ah, well, it was worth a try. Not really surprising though.
Yep, always worth a punt!
Yeah totally, looks like they got hundreds of order, no esitmate of delivery and just noped out of there! Scan doesn't even have a esitmate for their 3080's currently! On the Stock Informer Dischord the last announcement for a 3080 was 13 days ago!
I wouldn't be surprised if Viking got a bunch of large orders from other shops to try and fill outstanding preorders lol
oc.uk did a good thing yesterday an allowed forum members to purchase 3070s @ £359 . same i missed out as i was working till very late
