@olly_lewis: Use Babelfish. Use Google. Don't be intolerant. There are many modders here whose first language is not English, and I bet their English is better than your Swedish/Dutch/German/Chinese/Norwegian/ETC. So get off your arse and look it up.

@samkiller42: Wow, that looks really promising. If I was getting a computer in the near future, I might actually consider a GX2 just so the rendering tasks I do are a little faster. Hm, thanks for that!

But the page just goes straight to a forum index and not an actual thead/post plus VB doesn't really like babelfish.

Personaly I really dont like AC's block fot the 7950 since it seams to be a joined together block. I'd rather want to separate blocks.

So then use separate blocks... the whole purpose of this is that it IS a single block (which means less tube routing, etc).

Yes I understand that, but maybe a single block desgin may have poor preformance. Just my opinion thats all.

There isnt a block thin enough right now to use. Pelt cooling is impossible too it seems....

They should put a gpu faceing up on the top card and down on the bottom.

AC's standard AquagraFX series are all one-slot coolers, as are quite a few other European (particularly German) blocks. Whether they'd interfere in normal form with the internal SLI bridge, I've got no idea, however you could watercool seven slots worth of cards with their blocks if you were so inclined.

I hate to say it, folks, but I think nVidia has a winner here. I could see myself going this route, especally with the available water cooling. I have to wonder what installation is going to be like though.

Apart from your english being worse than mine (that's saying something) talk about a grossly overrated and onesided statement.

Tbh, you might as well just get SLI if you're thinking of buying a 7950GTX.

Not really, it's cheaper than two 7900gtxs, and a bit more than 7900gt, and performs as such. Considering how many 7900gts are dying, I think I'd rather go the GX2 route.
