    You really think 10x0 prices won't rise too? Retailers will bump their prices, claiming tarrifs even if the cards aren't affected.

    I think it's going to be yet another bad time to be buying consumer tech end of, however should retailers decide to follow that route with the 10 series they'll be slicing their own throats ultimately.

    I've always got the impression that EOL gear always seems to get more expensive if anything.

    Whether it actually does or not in reality i'm not sure.

    Price dips then rises again. Dip comes from oversupply as the early adopter wave offloads Old Component X for New Component Y, then rises as that supply dries up and the few who need Old Component X (due to compatibility issues or whathaveyou) are a more captive market.

    That has been what I presumed, it has just never felt like that to me but, yeah, that is what makes sense.
