    600 point increase for me with 3dmark2002 SE!!! My system loves these drivers! :D

    i got a worse 3dmark score with these than i did with 30.82...:eeek:

    You did do a complete uninstall of the old drivers didnt you.
    The 40's cant just be installed over the top of old drivers.

    I've got mixed results with this. I've tested it on an eVGA Ti4600, Asus Ti4400, and Asus Ti4200 64Mb. I got a 600 point increase on the 4600, but the surprising thing is that I got a 6000:eeek: point decrease on the 4200 and 4400. That's very VERY strange.... not sure what's going on, but reverted back to 31.00 for a while...

    I definately do get at least a 1000 increase in 3dmark with these new dets.

    Ummm Reaper what did you get before and after the new drivers on the 4400 and 4200...? 6000 point increase? Am I seeing that right?

    No, it was a 6000 point decrease, and I was using the standard Asus drivers 29.42 I think. I think it may have something to do with the drivers that Asus supplies, I'm not sure though. Any help would be appreciated.

    DAMMIT!!!! I installed the latest Det 40's and got an AWESOME increase of 900 points to 11543. I OCed the vid card to 4600 speeds and got the 12182 in my sig. But Half-Life crashed after 30-45 min of play and America's Amry is flickering when I'm playin it. These 40.41 are benchmark beasts but the compatibility SUCKS.

    i got the 40.41 for about 4 or 5 days, and no problems, no games crashed, or froze. everything runs great.

    You have to have 75 posts before you can change to a custome avatar. I played RTCW AGAIN and it ran fine. Must be an incompatibility or somethin with those games. Ah well other than those 2 little issues my graphics are running fast as hell. The screens refresh quicker and when browsin the Net, the pages are proccessed and displayed quicker as well. I shouldn't jump the gun and diss them so quickly. I need to give them a few days.

    I play mafia at 640x480 :p runs fast as hell

    (i play on my TV and it looks like 1600x1200 lol)

    I take back what I said before....After playing FlightSim 2002 for the last few days, I notice the detail isn't as nice as the last drivers I was using (29.42). Sooooooo......I'm debating If I should just use the new drivers, or go back to what I had before....but after all, I did get a 600 point increase in 3Dmark......Hummmmm...... :eyebrow:
