News Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti price and release date revealed

Well from the reviews I've read the performance is basically the same. 280x wins on some and the 770 wins on some so hardly better performance.
However the 7990 for £420 with Crysis 3 and Blood Dragon, 2 games I want, is tempting right now so good shout on that.

My main point for going with the 770's is memory. My 570's are aging well before their time because of the low memory (which in fairness was already a bit low at the time) and I don't want to make that mistake again. I am aiming for 4gig minimum for my next card(s).

I'm off to read some 7990 reviews.

 

AMD's linux drivers are less than ideal so I'm stuck with nvidia cards for the moment - so while I'm running nvidia cards, any price drops as a result of AMD's aggressive price/performance are welcome.

 

If these specs are accurate, then oh my I think I will be waiting for these.
