Hey ladies and gentlemen. Just a quick check here.

Regarding uninstallation and reinstalltion of Geforce drivers.

All I do these days is download the latest from Nvidia drivers and double click and let it do it all for me. Is this the best way to do it now. I used to go to Programs and Features and remove each part, then reboot and install. My friends seem to think now a days that's not needed. Seems Nvidias own site goes that way to.

I just wondered what everyones views where one this :).

    Thx Lee

There is an option when you run the installer now to do a "clean" installation. This works pretty well if you have no profiles etc saved. No need to manually remove the old drivers unless you run into problems.

When you install the drivers,if you select 'custom' there is a 'clean install' option, which will remove the old drivers first before installing the new ones, otherwise it'll just overwrite the old ones.

Never had any issues installing doing it either way.

    EDIT: Ninja'd
